LNS® Emulsifiers by NITRO SIBERIA JSC

NITRO SIBERIA JSC is a leading Russian manufacturer of emulsion explosives and high-quality emulsifiers for producing emulsion matrix — the base of emulsion explosives — for various applications.

LNS® emulsifiers are highly effective complex surfactants based on polyisobutylene succinic anhydride (PIBSA) derivatives and vegetable-based esters dissolved in mineral oil, as well as polymer-free "SMO" type emulsifiers. LNS® emulsifiers are specially designed for use in production of water-in-oil emulsions based on inorganic nitrate salts and petroleum products. NITRO SIBERIA JSC also produces ready-made complex fuel phases for packaged explosives.

Product Range

LNS®-1000, LNS®-2000, LNS®-2100 Series — for production of bulk emulsions for unpackaged emulsion explosives, including high-viscosity for open-pit blasting operations.

LNS®-3000, LNS®-3100 Series — preferred for:

• bulk emulsions for high-stability unpackaged emulsion explosives;
• mixed emulsion explosives containing granulated ammonium nitrate, including packaged systems with long shelf life;
• cap-sensitive packaged emulsion explosives and booster cartridges.
